Scott Steiner, Rhoades McKee

Scott Steiner is the Chair of the Environmental Law Practice Group at Rhoades McKee PC and is a core member of the Sustainability, Energy, and Climate Change Practice Group.  Through the SECC Practice Group, Rhoades McKee is committed to working with businesses and institutional clients to develop new opportunities relating to alternative energy sources (including solar, wind, bio-mass and landfill methane) and sustainable development.  The group addresses clients’ needs with regard to renewal energy project development including structuring of agreements, public and private financing, taxation, permitting, land use and due diligence.

Mr. Steiner has been a member of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum since 2002 and is a member of its Sustainable Business Practices Committee.  He is the Chairman of the State Bar of Michigan Environmental Law Section’s Water Law Committee and an elected member of the State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Council.  Mr. Steiner has also served as an adjunct instructor at Grand Valley State University and has been selected by his peers in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Environmental Law.
